We're seeking a dynamic Business Analyst with deep digital knowledge to collaborate with all levels of management and drive success on digital projects. Are you ready to be the bridge between end-users and IT, ensuring seamless delivery of business requirements?

Responsibilities:

1.Strategy and Planning:

  • Understand digital strategy and align team deliverables accordingly

  • Collaborate with assigned business units to schedule and plan medium to large enhancements

  • Support the development of business cases for prioritised projects

  • Ensure project documentation aligns with company policies/methodologies

2. Business Requirements Analysis:

  • Gather and analyse end-user requirements from business users

  • Quickly grasp business issues and data changes within client's industry

  • Scope projects effectively, managing dependencies to minimise change requests

  • Analyse workflows and identify areas for improvement

3. Project Implementation and Support:

  • Manage implementation of small to large initiatives, monitoring against plan

  • Provide post-implementation assistance and measurement of expected benefits

  • Ensure business requirements are sufficiently detailed for project documentation

  • Coordinate testing and ensure system enhancements are efficient and user-friendly

  • Develop training documentation when needed

4.Collaboration and Mentoring:

  • Work closely with product owners to update and prioritise backlogs

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the business

  • Mentor and support team members as required

Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a business analyst working on digital projects (experience with data migration projects a plus)

  • Experience in an agile environment

  • Experience in financial services (ideally insurance)

  • Analytical mindset to understand and interpret business needs

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Good knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure, and databases

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills

  • Proficiency in requirements gathering and self-management

  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives and meet deadlines effectively

  • Extensive understanding of the delivery and software development lifecycles

  • Strong familiarity with technology enablers
