About the role

What you’ll be doing

Designing and governing lakehouse data models across bronze / silver / gold layers

Translating business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical models

Building and supporting ELT pipelines and curated datasets

Working closely with stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, usable and trusted

Improving performance, cost efficiency and overall data platform capability
The environment

Azure Synapse + ADLS Gen2 lakehouse architecture

Mix of Serverless SQL, pipelines and Spark

Power BI as the main consumption layer

Strong focus on data quality, governance and scalability
What they’re looking for

Strong experience in data modelling across modern cloud platforms

Ability to work across dimensional, 3NF or Data Vault approaches

Experience with Azure (Synapse, ADLS, ADF)

Someone who can confidently engage with both business and engineering teams

A pragmatic mindset — not overly academic, but focused on outcomes
