Senior Change Manager – Technology & Automation

We’re working with a large, complex organisation delivering a portfolio of tech-focused initiatives across automation, process excellence, data and AI. The work is fast-moving, highly visible, and requires someone who can think across the portfolio while still getting stuck into delivery.  This is a stand-alone change role in the portfolio, so you will need the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and bring a high level of experience and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

This role operates at two levels — simultaneously:

1. Portfolio-level change oversight

  • Taking a portfolio view of change across multiple concurrent initiatives

  • Assessing and understanding change impacts across the full suite of projects 

  • Shaping change approaches that make sense across automation, AI and digital initiatives

  • Working with leaders to anticipate adoption risks and behavioural impacts

2. Embedded change delivery (part-time across projects)

  • Delivering change within multiple tech projects at once (typically 2+)

  • Designing and owning change strategies aligned to the nature of each initiative

  • Leading impact assessments, comms, training and adoption planning

  • Partnering with internal Comms and P&C/L&D teams (you won’t be doing this in isolation)

  • Supporting implementation, post-go-live embedding and process adoption

The flavour of change
  • Tech-led change: automation, data, AI, digital platforms

  • Behaviour change is the focus — not just awareness

  • Creative, multi-channel engagement (not “email + training = done”)

  • Practical change that helps people understand:

    • how to use new tools

    • when to use them (and when not to)

    • what processes, templates or behaviours must change alongside the tech

What we’re looking for
  • Strong experience delivering change in technology-heavy environments

  • Comfortable working across automation, data and AI-enabled initiatives

  • Able to run multiple streams at once and stay on top of the detail

  • Confident working with leaders to challenge thinking and influence behaviour

  • Brings their own toolkit, templates and frameworks (there’s openness to your “flavour”)

  • Personable, commercial, and proactive — this is not a passive role
