     The Role: 

​

• We are looking for a highly skilled, Principal Electrical Engineer to assist with implementing the next wave of technology into the business as they implement strategic digital grid projects, aimed at improving outage management, streamlining network operations, and facilitating seamless two-way energy flows.

• You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company's energy management infrastructure, leveraging your expertise to develop strategies to harness technology to solve complex network operation challenges and optimise business processes through automation.

• Ideally you will hail from a background familiar with DMS, EMS, DERMS either in a power engineer or electrical engineer capacity in energy.

• You will provide high-quality technical guidance by conducting in-depth analysis and research, enabling informed and strategic decision-making.

      Requirements:

​

• Strong track record in an electrical or power engineering position within the energy sector. (7-10 years)

• Proven expertise in the design, deployment, and integration of DMS, EMS, DERMS, SCADA, or related energy management systems is highly beneficial.

• Strong understanding of power systems, grid automation, and digital control systems.

• Demonstrated ability to solve complex electrical engineering problems and provide technical leadership.

• Full Australian working rights. (Sponsorship not available for this position)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronic engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  Whilst we are also hiring on potential, strong demonstrable experience within a technical implementation project is highly advantageous.
