
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Head of Claims Delivery to lead delivery across a core value stream within a major insurance organisation.
Reporting to the GM, Value Stream Delivery, this role plays a hands-on leadership function in driving execution of strategy and uplifting delivery performance across multiple teams.
This is not a traditional RTE role. It has been redesigned to operate with broader accountability across delivery leadership, strategy alignment, business partnership, and people leadership, owning outcomes across a complex transformation environment.
You’ll sit at the intersection of business and technology, working closely with product, architecture, and leadership teams to translate strategy into executable delivery.
What this role is really about

Owning delivery outcomes across a value stream, including Agile Release Trains and squads

Translating business strategy into delivery roadmaps, OKRs, and execution plans

Aligning demand, capacity, and delivery across teams and third-party vendors

Leading complex transformation programs alongside continuous improvement initiatives

Driving consistency, transparency, and speed of delivery

Influencing stakeholders across business, technology, and product functions
-
Balancing large-scale transformation with ongoing enhancements

Connecting business priorities with technology constraints and delivery realities
Key Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate agile delivery in a hybrid delivery environment

Coordinate and align ART activities with strategic direction
-
Manage flow of value across delivery teams and programs
-
Shape and execute change and delivery strategies across the value stream

Manage demand pipeline, resourcing, and third-party agreements
-
Oversee delivery governance, reporting, and executive updates
-
Develop and maintain delivery processes, tools, and frameworks
-
Drive continuous improvement across delivery capability and performance
-
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
People Leadership

Lead and develop a team of Scrum Masters and Business Analysts

Build capability, consistency, and engagement across delivery teams
-
Foster a culture of psychological safety, accountability, and high performance
-
Coach leaders and teams in Agile and SAFe ways of working

Support succession, development, and long-term capability uplift
What they’re looking for

Significant experience leading Agile delivery in complex environments

Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs and initiatives

Strong capability across project, program, and Agile delivery

Experience managing complex portfolios, demand, and resource planning

Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders

Experience leading teams and building delivery capability

Strong process and continuous improvement experience
