We’re looking for a senior Change Manager to lead end-to-end change on a multi-year, industry-wide regulatory transformation program across AUSPAC.

 

This is a sole Change Manager role with full ownership. You’ll shape strategy, drive adoption, and embed change across Claims, Underwriting, Operations, Technology, Customer Relations, Complaints, and Risk & Compliance.

 

Phase 1 focuses on updates to the General Insurance Code of Practice (GICOP), with additional regulatory initiatives to follow.

What this role is about
  • Leading end-to-end change across a complex, regulatory-driven program

  • Designing and executing change strategy in an ambiguous, evolving environment

  • Conducting impact assessments across multiple business units

  • Driving stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption

  • Embedding change and ensuring business readiness

  • Simplifying regulatory complexity and making change practical and manageable

  • Working closely with Risk & Compliance stakeholders who may not be naturally change-oriented

  • Bringing energy and engagement to regulatory content that may feel operational or “dry”

This is not a partial delivery role, it owns the full change lifecycle.

Must-have experience
  • Strong Risk & Regulatory change experience

  • End-to-end change delivery (strategy through embedment)

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability

  • Hands-on delivery style

  • Insurance or Financial Services background

  • Experience working in hybrid Agile / Waterfall environments (e.g. Jira)

  • GICOP experience highly regarded

  • Experience creating/editing video communications (e.g. Camtasia) highly regarded
