Are you a detail-driven Business Analyst with strong experience in risk, controls, and insurance operations? This is an excellent opportunity to join a major transformation program and play a key role in documenting and assessing risks linked to large-scale change initiatives.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, validating, and synthesising information to complete Delivered Risk Assessment (DRA) templates. You’ll work closely with SMEs across Claims, Policy, Billing, and Risk to ensure all risks are accurately captured, assessed, and documented in line with established frameworks and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
DRA (Delivered risk assessment) Template Management

Populate and maintain DRA (Delivered Risk Assessment) templates across Initial, Midpoint, and Final assessment stages.

Ensure alignment with Material Risk Classes and detailed Risk Categories.

Document change summaries, impacts, and risk categorisation across strategic, operational, compliance, and insurance domains.
Information Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with Business SMEs, Stream Leads, and Risk Owners to collect data on systems, processes, and controls.

Coordinate and lead DRA workshops to validate risks, controls, and residual ratings.

Work closely with Claims, Policy, and Billing subject-matter experts to ensure insurance-related risks are fully understood and documented.
Risk Analysis & Documentation

Assess inherent/residual risks, control effectiveness, and opportunities to reduce risk.

Map risks and controls to business processes and RCSAs (Risk and Control Self-Assessments).

Support transition of risks into BAU, ensuring approvals and updates are completed in Insight and Signavio.
Compliance & Governance

Ensure all documentation meets Line 2 Project Risk Management Guidelines and PMO governance standards.

Maintain audit-ready records of decisions, validations, and stakeholder approvals.
Requirements

Strong understanding of insurance operations including policy lifecycle, claims, and billing.

Solid experience in risk assessment, control design, or compliance-focused documentation.

Confidence engaging stakeholders and facilitating structured workshops.

Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised documentation skills.
