Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Data Leadership: Own and deliver data & analytics strategies for a key business domain (e.g., Actuarial, Claims, Commercial Lines).
     

  • Business Partnership: Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring data solutions drive real-world impact.
     

  • Data Product Development: Oversee the design and execution of data pipelines, analytics tools, and machine learning solutions to enhance decision-making.
     

  • Governance & Visibility: Improve transparency and accountability in how data investments are managed, ensuring leadership has visibility into key projects.
     

  • Transformation & Change: Lead the shift from siloed data operations to an integrated, strategic function that empowers the business.
     

  • Demand & Portfolio Management: Prioritize initiatives, secure resources, and track the business value of data solutions.

Requirements:

  • Deep Insurance & Data Expertise: Experience in the insurance industry with an understanding of the unique data challenges and opportunities faced
     

  • Strategic & Hands-On Approach: Ability to define the big picture while also diving into technical details when needed.
     

  • Data Solutioning & Analytics: Experience leveraging machine learning, AI, and data products to solve complex business problems.
     

  • Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence executives, underwriters, and technical teams.
     

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving business-aligned data transformations in complex environments.
