About the role

Our client, a global insurance business, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead a complex, data-heavy piece of work on one of their core platforms. It's a hands-on, independent role, working closely with a small senior team in the early phase, so you'll need to get across the detail quickly and operate as a genuine subject-matter voice, not just a facilitator.

What you’ll be doing

       As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Lead discovery independently and build a strong understanding of the platform and business landscape

• Translate complex requirements into clear business and technical requirements for the wider team

• Run stakeholder sessions and bring a strong, informed point of view given the complexity of the data and solution

• Manage external partner relationships proactively, holding them to account on requirements and timelines

• Work in a blended delivery style, leaning agile where possible, with waterfall elements where needed

What they’re looking for

• Senior BA (or Product Owner / business SME) background, confident working autonomously

• Insurance domain knowledge, ideally commercial insurance

• Solid API and data mapping experience, not just UI-focused integration

• Genuine vendor/partner management experience, this is essential

• Strong communication and facilitation skills

• Technical understanding strong enough to challenge a proposed solution, not just document it
