About this role:

Our client is currently migrating their legacy reporting system to Power BI and they are seeking an experienced Power BI developer to assist them.  Working in a small, close-knit team of 5 and reporting into the Power BI Lead, you will hit the ground running in helping achieve this project by the end of the year.  

Responsibilities:

  • Building Power BI reports

  • Working with T-SQL, DAX, SSIS, dimensional modelling

  • Migrating legacy platform to Power BI

  • Working autonomously, with minimal hand-holding

Requirements:

  • Hands on experience building Power BI reports

  • Strong skills with T-SQL, DAX, SSIS, dimensional modelling

  • Experience on a similar project, migrating legacy platform to Power BI

  • Ability to hit the ground running, and require minimum supervision

  • Experience in insurance or other financial services, with an understanding of transaction based reporting is advantageous
