Cyber Security Team Lead

About this role:

As the Cyber Security Team Lead, you'll be at the forefront of driving significant risk reduction initiatives and ensuring that information security risks are effectively managed across our core business, third-party suppliers, programs, and projects. 

Responsibilities:
  • Leading and mentoring a small team of 3-5 cybersecurity consultants to ensure their success. 

  • Cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team culture that emphasizes knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

  • Conducting 'Secure By Design' assessments to align risks with the business's risk appetite.

  • Providing technical security advice and assurance in line with industry best practices.

  • Taking personal accountability for identifying and mitigating technical or business security weaknesses.

  • Building strong relationships with divisional business and project stakeholders to improve security consultancy services.

  • Collaborating with the broader cyber security team to identify opportunities for strategic security solutions.

  • Managing budgeted resources effectively to meet project requirements.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in a technical Cyber role, particularly in consulting roles.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in developing cybersecurity talent and fostering technical excellence.

  • Background in GRC highly regarded 

  • Expertise in identifying people, processes, or technology risks impacting Cyber Security posture.

  • Strong familiarity with security and risk-based standards such as ISO27001, NIST800, and PCI-DSS.

  • Experience in driving innovation and agility within businesses.

  • Proven ability to work across multiple service models, time zones, and in multicultural environments.

  • Salary $160K+Super+BONUS
