About this role:
This leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Cyber Data and Vulnerability Governance Lead to join their team for an 8-month paternity leave contract. As a trusted partner in security, you’ll lead a small team responsible for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Vulnerability Governance. This role is critical in managing proactive remediation efforts, fostering cyber awareness, and building strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Oversee the Data and Governance team responsible for DLP incidents and vulnerability management across the region.

Drive Cyber Excellence: Ensure effective cyber practice execution and assurance in alignment with corporate standards.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build collaborative partnerships with technical services and business units to address vulnerabilities and DLP events proactively.

Promote Security Awareness: Engage and educate stakeholders across the organization on cyber and information security practices.

Ensure Consistency: Apply vulnerability management processes across the AUSPAC region, ensuring rigorous adherence.

Monitor and Report Impact: Track compliance and demonstrate security benefits and mitigation success.
Requirements:

Proven experience working in information security teams, ideally in vulnerability management and DLP.

Strong understanding of cyber security practices, policies, and standards.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to act with integrity and transparency in all aspects of threat and risk identification and problem-solving.

Demonstrated ability to drive fast-paced and agile behaviours in a team setting
